HFCS
OMG there is high fructose corn syrup in everything. I have resolved to cut out HFCS as of the New Year. Thankfully, there isn’t any in the food I normally buy throughout the week (I checked while grocery shopping), but if I want an Oreo as a treat sometime? HFCS. Meet some friends for dinner? HFCS in pretty much everything. This is going to get interesting.

ONE GALLON OF WATER
Drank that yesterday.  Gonna make myself drink that much again today.  It is SO much easier to just drink and drink tons of water when it is 117 degrees out instead of when I am freezing my ass off at 55 degrees.

NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO
all the New Year’s Resolution-ers that will be flooding the gym in about a week.  Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that people will be deciding to get healthy… I just don’t like having a super packed gym no matter what hour of the day I am there.  I am going to look into a different, smaller gym tonight, I think.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION
So my resolution last year was to cut soda out of my life. I pretty much never drank regular soda anyways, but I probably had one diet soda every day. I have drank so much more water and tea this past year and I feel great. I stayed true to my resolution and will continue to not consume soda for… the rest of my life, I guess. Now. What do I add to the cut-out list for this years...

WELL, I'M BACK FROM LAS VEGAS
The scale says that I didn’t gain any weight while cutting loose in Vegas.  WIN.  However, I can totally tell a difference in my energy, alertness and overall mood when I get off track from my healthy diet.  So today, I am back on track… healthy foods, lots of water and double header softball games! :)
